Privacy Policy

The short version

Word Quest does not collect, store, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking.

What stays on the device

The app saves learning progress on the device only: which words have been learned, quiz results, stars, cards, trophies, review dates, the daily goal, and sound settings. This data never leaves the device. We cannot see it. Deleting the app deletes it, and the parent area has a "Reset progress" button.

What we do not do

• We do not ask for a name, email address, age, or any other personal information.
• We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking tools.
• We do not use the camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or location.
• We do not send any data to our own servers. The app works fully offline.

Purchases

The optional one-time purchase that unlocks all worlds is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive payment details. The app asks the App Store only whether this purchase has been made, so it can unlock the content. Purchase controls are behind a parental gate.

Children's privacy

Word Quest is made for children ages 9–11. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children. This is consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Apple's Kids Category rules.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
